Norden
Norden is a town and port in Nordland in the Empire. [1a]
It is located in Drosselspule Bay, at the easten end. [1a]
In 2512 IC it has a population of about 2100 IC. [2c]
Government
The town is ruled by Baron Ottmar von Neurath but he spends most of his time in Altdorf. [2b]
History
The town transports prisoners to Leopoldheim but secretly it is being developed as a base to explore and exploit Lustria. [1a] After Dietershafen became home of the newly created Second Fleet of the Imperial Navy, the Empire began quietly refitting the port of the town. Access to the town, by land and sea is now controlled by the military. [3a]
Locations
- Schloss Neurath: Ancestral home of the ruling family, located to the east of the town. [3a]
- Sleepers Mount: An outcrop projecting out from the sea about a half a mile north of Norden. A home to nesting birds, including the dangerous Razorbills and even Mermaids have been seen swimming nearby. [3a]
Military
Several of the Knights Griffon are stationed at the large Temple of Sigmar. [2a]
