Grunburg
Grunburg, also known as Grünburg or Grunberg, is a large town in the Reikland of the Empire. [1][3]
It is located on the shore of river Teufel that flows north into the Reik at Castle Reikguard.
History
It was outside the town that the Battle of Grunberg saw the final defeat of Orc Warboss Gorbad Ironclaw, the conflict almost entirely fought by mounted troops and the area is now known as Battle Plains. It attracts antiquarians and archaeologists as well as grave robbers. [2][3]
The Grünberg Canal is a recent addition, finished in 2506 IC. It now takes much of Teufel's barge traffic into Altdorf.[2]
