Siege of Chateau Frontiere was fought between the defenders of a Bretonnian outpost and a Mercenary band seeking gold. [1]
History
After fighting for the Empire in the Badlands against the Greenskins, the force led by Bjorn Irongrim decided to plunder the Bretonnian outpost having heard tell of the gold treasures in its holy shrine. As the mercenaries climbed the walls, Sir Aleron de Brionne rose from his vigil in the shrine to join the defenders. [1]
The mercenaries were cut down or fled and the fight was recorded in the le Chanson de Aleron de Brionne. [1]
