Mordac, the Decayed is a Wight and former champion of Mousillon. [1a]
History
In life he was champion of the Duke of Mousillon, winning every tournament that he took part in, never refusing a challenge but although he always fought with great self-control, many thought he was trying to restrain a ravening beast within him. During one contest, he accepted a challenge from what appeared to be a visiting knight but who turned out to be the Duke's son in disguise. [1a]
Tragically, the scion of his lord was fatally wounded in the joust and Mordac fled when his identiy was revealed, pledging to only return when he had slain the most terrible of beasts. He died in a forest attempting his quest and his body was buried in a stone crypt at the heart of Bretonnia. [1a]
Many centuries later, his tomb was breeched by Laskar Noircouer and he was raised as Wight, riding at the head of the Cemetary Riders of Quenelles, a regiment of Skeleton Horsemen. [1a]
