Drakenhof Guard
The Drakenhof Guard were a Greatsword regiment and bodyguards of the Von Drak family in Sylvania in the Empire [1a] and are now Grave Guard. [2]
Artefacts
History
After he became Elector Count, the living members of the Guard continued to serve Vlad von Carstein and fought to defend him in the early stages of the Vampire Wars. [1a]
Their last known action was the Battle of the Old Forest Road where almost all of them were killed fighting against the Knights of the White Wolf. Vlad's brother-in-law, Vulf is believed to have been their captain on that day, holding his family standard. It is said that Vlad killed and re-animated the few survivors at the end of the battle. The long dead Guard are also said to still man the walls of Castle Drakenhof. [1b]

Their finely crafted armour had to be purchased by the warrior which helped keep the rabble out of their ranks. [1b]
