Waldenhof

Waldenhof is a city and provincial capital of Sylvania.[1a]
It is located at the conclusion of several rivers that unite to become the Stir and is built of old dark stone, many gargoyles sculpted to peer out of every shadow. [2a]

History
After the Battle of Hel Fenn it became part of Stirland.
On the return of Mannfred von Carstein, he ruled from Castle Drakenhof allowing his retainers to run riot in the city. [1a]
Locations
- Castle Waldenhof: A huge black fortress dominating teh land for miles around. [2a]
- Docks: Located at the base of the cliffs it is seldom used, attracting little trade. [2a]
- Inns: Required to open in the evenings by law, some say to provide a hunting ground for the Carstein retainers. [2a]
Notable
- Herman Posner, Baron of Waldenhof took command of the army of Sylvania following the apparent death of Vlad von Carstein after the Battle of Essen Ford in 2010 IC. When Vlad returned later that night, Herman was cut down without a moment's thought. [3a]
