History
Before the defeat of the forces of Chaos at the Battle at the Gates of Kislev many warbands and companies pamaged through the northern Old World whilst men and Dwarfs marched north to confront them. This particular battle took place near the village of Lacwitz which had been abandoned and burnt. The nearby land was corrupted by the presence of the forces of Chaos with at least one wood of Daemonic trees that would attack the unwary. [1]
The Chaos forces first engaged the warriors of the Empire who were reinforced by the Dwarfs. [1]
